Shortly after we moved in to our home at the end of last summer, Stella climbed out of her crib. This was our sign that it was time to start the transition into a big girl bed and room. I love a mix of new and old, and I think it turned out just perfect!
Stella’s Big Girl Bed
We used a rail on her crib until we found the perfect bed. I love a good antique (and a good deal) so I found the perfect little twin bed in perfect condition for resale at $35!!! I used Rethunk Junk Chalk Paint, In Cotton which is my absolute fav for painting furniture. I have painted my share and used a few of the other “big brands” with not so great results.
Stella’s Dresser
The dresser we had purchased as a refinished antique for her nursery. The mirror we had in our basement, I used Rethunk Junk chalk paint on that as well, and we attached it to the dresser to avoid more holes in the wall😜
Stella’s Bedding
The quilt is Emily & Merritt for Pottery Barn Kids. The “Hey Boo” pillow is from a great little shop I love called PCB Home. Her canopy or “castle” as she calls it can be found on Amazon, and her gold heart sheets are Pillowfort for Target.
Nightstand
The gray jewel knob night stand can be found at Pottery Barn Kids.
Decor
Stella’s custom name sign is from Wild Child Wood (you can find her on fb and Instagram) she is awesome and I have a few custom pieces from her. The metal flowers and prayer wall art are from Hobby Lobby. The wood bow holder on her dresser is also from Hobby Lobby. The sweet little bunny lamp is from Target.
Stella’s Rug
Stella’s rug is sheepskin and was an awesome find at Costco! (my second home)🙋🏼♀️
Wall Decals
The dot decals are from Urban Walls and we LOVE them! They have a ton of cute decals. I’m trying to figure out more walls for decals in the house because they have some gorgeous ones.
Ceiling Light
This light is from Lowe’s and I love it. I think it adds a touch of modern but is still super fun for a little girl.
