There is no better way to start the holiday season than to visit Santa. We recently went as a family to the Fashion Outlets Chicago to visit SantaHQ! HGTV’s SantaHQ is a fun, interactive experience for the whole family!
When you enter HGTV SantaHQ you can visit the Elf Academy where you can use the Magic Mirror and transform into an Elf! You can even get your very own Elf ID. The girls favorite was the Naughty or Nice Meter where you stand on an interactive meter to see which list you made [spoiler: both girls made Santa’s nice list!]. There is a fun interactive room where you can spot the elves in magic doors, then head over to visit Santa! We really loved the experience from start to finish. It was truly a magical experience and definitely stepped up the traditional visit to Santa!
One of my favorite features as a parent is the option to make a reservation. You can select the date, the 30 minute window, and prepay online! This way you can save so much time from waiting in line! This is huge for me since my kids can get anxious if we have to wait a long time, so we are ensured good moods all around. There are SantaHQ locations across the USA. You can also choose and upgrade several SantaHQ photo packages.
HGTV also has a program– Help Through Holiday Giving that encourages visitors to donate toys for underserved children during the holiday season.
